Muscat, Jan 27 : Kevin Pietersen’s brilliant knock of 86 off just 38 balls helped World Giants beat Asia Lions by seven wickets in the Legends League Cricket tournament here at Al Amerat ground. Chasing a modest target of 150 on Wednesday, Giants lost big fish Herschelle Gibbs for 12.
However, Pietersen and Kevin O’Brien stitched a match-winning 100-run partnership for the second wicket.
