UP: 3 of a family killed in road accident, 2 injured

Badaun (UP), Mar 22 : A couple and their one-year-old son were killed and two others were injured when a car rammed into a tractor-trolley in Bisauli area of Badaun district here in Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday, police said here.
Inspector of Bisauli police station Sanjeev Shukla said that Shakir (27), a resident of Mehrauli, along with his wife Rosy (24), son Ahaan, brother-in-laws Yaqoob and Mobin was returning to Delhi. “Near Madanjuri village when the car rammed into the overloaded tractor-trolley in the wee hours,” he said.
He said that with the help of the local residents, passengers trapped inside the car were taken out by the police. “Shakir, Rosy and Ahaan were killed in the incident, whereas Yaqoob and Mobin sustained serious injuries and have been admitted to the district hospital,” he said.
Shukla said that Shakir’s wife Rosy was pregnant.
