Biden says Harris will not Bow Down to Putin if elected US President

Chicago, Aug 20 : US President Joe Biden assured participants of his party’s convention that Democratic presidential candidate and US Vice President Kamala Harris will “never bow down” to Russian President Vladimir Putin in case of her election victory.
“[Former US President Donald] Trump bows down to Putin. I never have and I promise you Kamala Harris will never do it,” Biden said during the Democratic National Convention address in Chicago.
The US president claimed that Washington managed to unite Europe and eliminate a technological gap with China under his leadership.
In July, Biden said he was withdrawing from the 2024 election in the best interest of the Democratic Party and the US. He endorsed Harris as the Democratic nominee, which she accepted. The Democratic National Convention is taking place in Chicago from August 19-22, where delegates will officially appoint their candidate to face Trump in the November 5 election.
