Sensex falls over 100 pts

Mumbai, April 5 : The BSE Sensex on Friday fell 121.13 pts at 74106.50 as selling was seen in Telecommunications, Utilities and Auto stocks.
The Nifty of National Stock Exchange (NSE) eased 43.85 pts at 22,470.80.
The Sensex registered intra days high and low at 74,287.02 and 73,946.92 pts respectively.
The Nifty registered intra days high and low at 22,502.65 and 22,427.60 pts respectively.
The Mid Cap rose 0.10 pc while Small Cap fell by 0.20 pc.
In 30 scrips, 20 advanced while 10 declined.
The losers were L& T by 1.66 pc to Rs 3737, Axis Bank by 1.17 pc to Rs 1050.25, Tata Steel by 1.16 pc to Rs 161.50 and JSW Steel by 1.14 pc to Rs 852.65.
The gainers were HDFC Bank by 0.86 pc to Rs 1541, Nestle India Ltd by 0.75 pc to Rs 2568.15, Sun Pharma by 0.69 pc to Rs 1631.20 and Bajaj Finserv by 0.64 pc to Rs 1665.85.
