Maha: Union Home Minister Amit Shah arrives in Chhatrapati Sambhaijnagar

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Mar 5 : Union Home Minister Amit Shah arrived at Chikalthana airport in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar to attend various programs in Akola, Jalgaon, and Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar districts of Maharashtra.

Lastnight, Shah was received by various officials, including Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Union Minister of State for Railways, Finance, BJP State President, MP Subhash Bhamre, Housing Minister Atul Save, Prashant Bamb, Divisional Commissioner Madhukar Raje Ardad, and Collector Dilip Swamy.

After an overnight stay at Hotel Rama International, Shah will proceed around 1000 hours to Akola, where he will meet party functionaries in view of the upcoming Lok Sabha election.

After attending the program at Akola, he will proceed to Jalgaon and attend a Yuva Sammelan at Sagar Park in Jalgaon City around 1400 hours.

After attending Yuva Sammelan in Jalgaon, Shah will return to Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar by this evening and address a public rally at Marathwada Sanskrutik Mandal Ground.

Later tonight, Shah will leave for Mumbai from Chikalthana Airport, said officials.

Meanwhile, in view of the home minister’s visit, the police have made tight security arrangements in the city to avoid any untoward incidents. Also, traffic was diverted on several routes in the city.
